Silencio

En silencio he estado por muchos meses y ausente de mis alrededores, y mis pasiones. El silencio se a apoderado de mi blog. La inspiración me ha abandonado y el miedo me a ganado. Pero, ayer dí un paso para romper ese miedo. Hoy romperé el silencio.

I’m back!!!

It’s been a very long time since I posted. I had a beautiful space to create and I lost it. (For a good reason though) I will have it back some day, but during all this time I have not created as much. All my work is in progress. Now, a little corner in my living room has my easel with few working materials and a small space on a closet in one room, carries five boxes of the few things I could take out to bring home and create. It had happened, but not as satisfactory as I wished. Or I create or I clean. Also, my husband upgraded the computer and I lost all my adobe programs, some of the ones that I used to write my blogs name on the pictures. But technology it’s GREAT… I have a new phone. Yeah!! I joined the new century and that little thing is helping me now to show you pages I did a while ago. I used the leftovers of some of my old projects and I created two new pages. I can’t throw away those things, that’s why I have so much stuff. Anyway, here the images.

Hace ya tiempo hice éste dibujo en uno de mis diarios y como siempre terminó siendo una idea de cómo y en dónde pondré el texto que aún no escribo. Me gusto como quedo. En unas áreas lo deje a lápiz, pues creí y sigo creyendo que en el rostro el marcador arruinaría la expresión de la chica, no obstante hace unos días decidí colorear con gelly roll pens parte de la imagen… No estoy muy convencida del resultado al final.

A while ago I made this drawing on one of my journals, and as usual it end up being an idea for a layer on where to put my thoughts that I haven’t write yet. I liked the end result. In some areas, I left it with pencil, because I thought and I still think that in the girls face the marker will ruin the expression. Then a few days ago I decided to color parts of the image with gelly roll pens. I’m not so please with the result.

Las páginas de mi “casi diario” en ocasiones se quedan llenas de polvo, pues las abandono bastante. Me gusta dibujar en ellas o experimentar con texturas y otros materiales, pero en realidad no escribo mucho, más bien hago capas o divido la página para ir rellenando luego con pensamientos u otras ideas. Mi problema es que cuando hago las divisiones de mis páginas, me gustan tal como están que no quiero agregarles texto.
